LAZARUS CONSULTING SECURES FIRST MAJOR DEAL FOR EDEL RECORDS
Lazarus Consulting Limited, the media business consultancy, is delighted to announce its first major deal for edel
records, a division of edel music, since its recent appointment as edel music's UK agent.
Hamburg-based edel
records are scheduled to release the current album by rock 'n' roll legend Jerry Lee Lewis on October 27, 2006. The album
is a collection of duets and is called "Last Man Standing", a play on Lewis' unusual posture at live sessions: he stands as
he plays the piano.
edel records are
calling this album “the most amazing classic rock-n-roll album ever”. For the 21 duets, Lewis, aged 71, invited
22 rock, blues and country stars to the studio to record an incredible album of classic songs.
The listener can
look forward to songs by the "Killer" (his nickname) along with Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger,
B.B. King, Jimmy Page and many more. edel records licensed the rights to this classic album from US label Artists First via their international
agents The Music Coalition, a Songmasters Company.
edel records will
release the album in Germany, Austria,
Switzerland, Italy,
Portugal, Norway, Finland, Sweden, Poland
and Eastern Europe.
